Nicholas M. Dodosh, Esq.

Attorney Nicholas Dodosh has a proven track record of successfully handling complex motor vehicle accidents, personal injury and wrongful death cases, including the most severe cases where individuals have lost limbs or died due to the negligence of others. He has handled thousands of injury cases ranging from whiplash car accidents to fatal car crashes. He is routinely recognized as an Ohio “Super Lawyer,” which is an honor limited to the top 5% of attorneys in Ohio as nominated by peers. Every year, Mr. Dodosh is personally responsible for recovering millions of dollars on behalf of his injured clients.

Mr. Dodosh is regularly called upon by other lawyers to assist them in their own personal legal matters. He has been invited by the National Business Institute to speak at its Continuing Legal Education seminars and has been invited to speak to law students about being successful in the practice of law. Mr. Dodosh has also been published in the CATA News concerning significant updates and changes made to the Ohio Rules of Civil Procedure. He is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association (OSBA), the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association (CMBA), the Ohio Association for Justice (OAJ), and the Cleveland Academy of Trial Attorneys (CATA). He is licensed to practice law in all Ohio courts and is licensed federally in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio. He has argued in the Appellate Courts throughout the state of Ohio, including the Eighth District Court of Appeals in Cleveland.

Mr. Dodosh is caring and compassionate with his clients, but is an aggressive advocate in settlement discussions and in the courtroom. He believes that thorough preparation and factual analysis are key to the successful outcome of any legal claim. Mr. Dodosh prides himself on the personal attention that he gives to each and every one of his clients.

EDUCATION AND ACCOLADES

Mr. Dodosh earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Miami University of Ohio where he was a double major in Political Science and Communication with an emphasis in persuasion. He graduated from Miami University with honors and immediately went on to attend law school at the University of Akron School of Law. While in law school, Mr. Dodosh was selected to serve as Assistant Editor of The Akron Law Review – an honor reserved for top law students. He also was a member of Akron Law’s nationally ranked trial team, which is considered by U.S. News and World Report to be one of the top 10 trial advocacy programs in the nation (other top 10 schools include Georgetown University, Baylor University, and Northwestern University). Upon graduating with his Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree, Mr. Dodosh also obtained a Litigation Certification, indicating that he had gone above and beyond in his studies and had completed additional coursework with a focus on trial advocacy and dispute resolution.

During law school, Mr. Dodosh clerked in the Cleveland office of one of the Midwest’s top insurance defense firms. As law clerk, Mr. Dodosh did everything from drafting extensive legal motions to preparing memoranda of law spanning a wide range of complex legal issues. He also became highly skilled in utilizing both traditional and online legal research methods – skills that are essential in today’s fast-paced and high-stakes legal environment. In addition, he learned how big defense firms evaluate cases, and he regularly puts that knowledge to use for the benefit of his injured clients.

Following his clerkship, Mr. Dodosh practiced law at three Ohio personal injury firms where he handled a large caseload while also preparing extensive written motions, mediation position statements and trial briefs. Mr. Dodosh established Dodosh Law Offices, LLC in 2016 and routinely and successfully represents his clients against some of the largest insurance companies and corporations in the U.S.
